Taylor Siefker Williams Design Group led the development of a downtown revitalization master plan for the City of Scottsburg. This plan outlined needed objectives to achieve the community’s overall vision for downtown. With a historic square that servers this 6,600 resident community, many dynamic elements come together in downtown including festivals, events, shopping, entertainment, business and both city and county offices.

This plan is centered around grassroots efforts and ideas on how to make Downtown Scottsburg a destination for not only residents but also business, entertainment and visitors. A Steering Committee is guiding the process along with many local businesses and an active Main Street organization. Concurrently dozens of infrastructure and visual enhancement projects are occurring that compliment this plan including streetscape furniture, façade murals by local artists and sidewalk improvements.
