The Commons groundbreaking brings new public space to Washington, IN

A new landmark $3.1 million multipurpose downtown public space is coming to the heart of downtown Washington, Indiana. In late spring 2023, City, Daviess County, regional and state officials gathered to officially break ground on the Commons project. When completed, the multi-use facility will host concerts, civic events, farmer’s markets, celebrations and extended gatherings of organizations and families. TSWDG served as the project manager and lead designer for this landmark public space.
