Washington Commons recognized with Quality of Place Award

The Indiana Uplands Regional Innovation Awards highlight the people, groups, and organizations working to enhance the southern Indiana region.  As part of their annual awards program, the Quality of Place Attraction Award was presented to the City of Washington’s Commons project.  Designed by Taylor Siefker Williams Design Group, this project is a vibrant community gathering space, home to a performance stage, a farmers market pavilion and a multi-use program pavilion.  The award recognizes the project’s meaningful community improvements that enhance the Indiana Uplands as an inventive, industrious, and friendly place to live, work, and play.
